The guy says he has already seen companies getting back to candidates eight (!) months after they applied. The thing is that not only chances they are still available are minimal, but also that IF they still are, you should avoid them like plague! Really amazing how long some of these HR teams take, you'd think they have hundreds of specialists to plow through.
